Did you know that...
Ole Kirk Christiansen was the Dane who invented Lego in the 1930s. The name Lego derives from the Danish words 'leg godt' which means 'play well'.
Niels Bohr (1885-1962) - one of the people who formulated the quantum theory - was Danish. An American scientist who once visited Bohr was surprised
to find a horse shoe attached above the main entrance. Surely such a great scientific mind could not be superstitious?
"You don't really believe in this, do you?' asked the American as Bohr opened the door. 'No, of course not', laughed Bohr, 'it is just to
be on the safe side.'
