IoA involvement:
Moheddine is Inspecteur du Patrimoine of NW Tunisia and Chargé de Recherches Archéologiques at the Institut National du Patrimoine (INP), Tunis. He is co-director with Corisande Fenwick of the British-Tunisian field project at Bulla Regia, Tunisia running as a collaboration between the INP and UCL. ). He is also co-investigator on the British-German-Tunisian AHRC-DFG funded project ISLAMAFR Conquest, Ecology and Economy in Islamic North Africa: The Example of the Central Medjerda Valley and a senior project partner on the ERC-funded project EVERYDAY ISLAM: Becoming Muslim: Cultural Change, Everyday Life and State Formation in early Islamic North Africa (600-1000). He is jointly responsible for directing the programme of research and publishing the results, as well as teaching UCL and INP students the principles of excavation and post-excavation processing. He is currently supporting a number of PhD projects at the Institute.
