Maya on the Thames 2021

The weekend of events will be full of all things Maya: an introductory lecture and two different workshops run for all levels and interests.

Each workshop will be led by experts in the field of Maya culture and epigraphy and all participants are also invited to attend the introductory lecture given by Simon Martin (University of Pennsylvania) via Zoom on the Friday evening entitled 'Ancient Maya Kingdoms as a Political Society'.
