Everyone is very welcome, no prior knowledge is necessary, just some good old curiosity!
To have a little sneak preview into ancient Maya calendars and writing you can also come along to one of the following free events:
Saturday 13 June 2015: World Archaeology Festival at the UCL Institute of Archaeology, including our stall "Maya have a happy birthday", where you can create special dates in the Maya Long Count to take home.
Tuesday 1 September 2015: British Museum Gallery Talk by Claudia Zehrt and Eva Jobbova: "How to read Maya glyphs: Yaxchilan's history written in stone", 13:15-14:00 in the Mexican Gallery.
