Project title
Efficiency of modulation contrast microscopy image analysis as a predictive tool for human oocyte quality
Project description
The research is set out to ascertain the efficiency of novel non-invasive parameters to describe oocyte quality with the aid of image analysis. To explore their predictive value, the experimental investigation will be focused on the effect of female demographics on ooplasm characteristics, light behaviour along different oocyte maturity stages and its correlation with laboratory and clinical outcomes. Establishing optimal markers for cytoplasmic competence could improve the understanding of the physiology and potential of the female human gamete.
