Study

The Institute for Women's Health has a strong programme of teaching at both undergraduate and graduate level and is a recognized centre for postgraduate clinical training.

Undergraduate degrees

The Institute contributes to and organises a major course module in Women’s Health and Men's Health for approximately 340 undergraduate students each academic year within Year 5 of the medical curriculum.

Masters degrees

Our high quality MSc programmes are led by researchers and clinicians with expertise across the whole spectrum of women’s health.

We provide a multi-disciplinary and cross-cutting environment for PhD and MD(Res) students, covering several themes including gynaecological cancer, bioinformatics, reproductive medicine, prenatal genetics, maternal and fetal medicine, and neonatology.

Each academic year we make a number of awards and prizes to our postgraduate taught and integrated BSc students.

Integrated Clinical Academic Training (iCAT)

The Institute hosts the UCL Integrated Academic Training Programme for Obstetrics and Gynaecology. We support training in research excellence at all four stages of the programme.
