Teodora Poppa - PhD Student
Teodora Popa is a third year PhD candidate on a British Health Foundation studentship programme. Her project is using an innovative approach to investigate human embryos using timelapse data, genetic data related to aneuploidy and artificial intelligence. By using machine learning, she is finding correlations between the early development of pre-implantation embryos and their genetic profile. This will ultimately lead to the development of a selection algorithm that would determine the clinical outcome of an embryo based on its early developmental patterns.
