Report of EGA IfWH '16th' Annual Conference 2021

Welcome to the EGA IfWH '16th' Annual Conference Report page.

The EGA Institute for Women’s Health 16th’ Annual Conference 2021 was a showcase of high-quality research undertaken by UCL Institute for Women's Health that took take place on 10 December 2021 with over 150 delegates attending remotely via Zoom link.

This year the format included oral presentations from IfWH/UCLH Researchers presenting their work, and undergoing a Q&A session. Presentations were judged by our panel, and prizes awarded for the overall best performances.

In addition to this, as like every year, we had our poster presentations and prizes, again run remotely, as well as highlights from our Institute staff of the high profile research that has been undertaken.

Furthermore, we hosted a Debate titled "Do we support the early induction of labour in Black & Ethnic Minority Women?" and a Key Note Lecture from Professor Lucy Chappell, Professor of Obstetrics at King's College London and Chief Scientific Adviser for the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC).

Recordings and pictures of the event can be found below.
