Research suggests that more than 90 per cent of women were never taught about the menopause at school, while nearly two-thirds only started looking for information when symptoms had begun.  A campaign launched by the Daily Mail last year called for more women to be made aware of treatment options.  Now a team from University College London, lead by Professor Joyce Harper (EGA Institute of Women's Health) , Dr Shema Tariqu (UCL Institute for Global Health) and Dr Nicky Keay are designing a course intended to do just that.  For full details please see - UCL news and Read: Daily MailIndependent, Evening Standard, The Herald (Scotland), Sun, ITV News London (from 16mins 10 secs), BBC Radio London ‘Salma El-Wardany’ (from 1 hour 23 mins 40 secs)
