(Hannah) I undertook this research project during my intercalated degree at UCL, as an external student from Hull York Medical School. I absolutely loved my year of being part of the EGA Women’s Health faculty and really enjoyed getting involved in research with the help of the tutors. I have an avid interest in fertility preservation and female oncology, an area that I hope to pursue in the future. I’d like to thank Bassel H. Al. Watter and Rohini Parchure for their support and advice with this project.  (Rohini) I chose this dissertation project as part of my intercalated degree in Women’s Health. I thoroughly enjoyed my fertility preservation project and am very thankful to the RMU for including me in their team and for their invaluable guidance. I would like to give a special thanks to my supervisor, Dr Bassel Wattar for his project ideas, support, and mentorship. I would like to thank him for taking the time out of his busy schedule to aid my research, and for inspiring me to pursue this field of medicine. I would also like to thank my project partner, Hannah Denbigh, for making this project a smooth and fun experience.
