MiRNA Expression in Human Blastocysts
Project description
The study aims to utilize the expression of miRNA in human blastocyst to determine the molecular status of the embryonic cells. This will be achieved by performing a series of experiments using high throughput approaches to investigate the association between miRNA expression and aneuploidy, and evaluate the efficiency of miRNA biomarkers to predict the embryonic quality and its potential to implant. Understanding this relationship may give a broader indication of the embryonic genetic status which could improve the treatment.
