About STS

Founded in 1921, UCL Department of Science and Technology Studies (STS) is located in the heart of London as part of UCL's Bloomsbury campus. Our teaching is classed as outstanding by students at every level. We consistently score high in overall satisfaction in UK National Student Surveys, and we routinely score well above our faculty average. We have substantial impact in history, policy research, and science communication. We welcome applications for study at every degree level (undergraduate, Masters, and Doctoral).
