About the Speaker

Madeleine Finlay

Science Writer, Producer and Presenter

Madeleine Finlay is a writer, producer and presenter who currently hosts the Guardian’s “Science Weekly” podcast. She also produced the award-winning BBC World Service podcast, “13 Minutes to the Moon”. Amongst her extensive body of writing is her children’s science book “Beetles for Breakfast”, co-written with Jisu Choi, which has been shortlisted for the Royal Society's Young People's Book Prize 2023.
