How to advertise a scholarship (bursary)
- 1. Create a webpage on your department / faculty website

If your department or faculty already have an area to promote existing scholarships, you can add details of the award here. Otherwise, please create a webpage to promote the opportunity. The page must include the name of the scholarship, the aim of the scholarship, the eligibility criteria, the selection criteria, the award value, link to application form, the scholarship deadline, the timeline for the scholarship to be awarded. This information needs to be clear, transparent and accurate.
- 2. Add the scholarship to UCL Scholarship Finder

You can further promote the opportunity by adding it to the UCL Scholarship Finder. UCL Scholarship Finder has a high number of webpage hits and also feeds through to your departmental prospectus pages via a widget.

Promote the scholarship by contacting your department / faculty communications team, publicising the scholarship on social media channels, emailing applicants and offer holders, featuring it at open days and so forth. Please see CAM guides and toolkits here www.ucl.ac.uk/brand/ucl-community/guides-and-toolkits. Remember the earlier you start advertising your scholarship the better.
