Dr Elodie Douarin, Associate Professor in Economics, has successfully applied for recognition of her supervisory practice by the UK Council of Graduate Education.

Dr Elodie Douarin, Associate Professor in Economics, has successfully applied for recognition of her supervisory practice by the UK Council of Graduate Education. The UKCGE has defined a 'Good Supervisory Practice Framework', which "acknowledges [..] at a national level, the wide-ranging, highly complex and demanding set of roles involved in modern research supervision". Applications for recognition thus build on a reflective account of how one's supervisory practice reflects these multiple roles and responsibilities. Dr Douarin wrote her application following a 6-week discussion-based programme led by colleagues from UCL Arena, who also provided active support and guidance.
