Trail 3: Interview with Helena Halme, Development Director of Finn-Guild

Finn-Guild* is the largest Finnish-British organisation that has been linking the two countries since 1965. Finn-Guild organises language courses, supports Finnish schools, runs a film and book library and publishes Horisontti magazine. The audio file is an interview with Helena Halme, Development Director of Finn-Guild. The interview was conducted at the Finn-Guild office in Mornington Crescent 14 November 2014. In the interview Helena talks about Finn-Guild, their upcoming 50 year anniversary (including publications and a cinnamon bun bake off), her role at Finn-Guild, and how Finn-Guild supports their members. Helena also talks about how she ended up in London over 30 years ago, the books she has written, how Brits how she misses rye bread, snow and quiet, and the most beautiful word in the Finnish language.
