UCL Faculty Undergraduate Scholarships for Excellence aim to promote and reward academic excellence among current UCL students.

Value: £3,000 (payable in the following academic year)
Available to: First and second year undergraduate students
Selection criteria: Academic merit
Eligible programmes: All full-time undergraduate programmes
Additional information: The Scholarship is tenable for one year only
Deadline: 17 October for Department Nominations and 31 October for Faculty Nominations

Eligibility

Candidates must be:

enrolled for undergraduate study at UCL.

Selection

Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic excellence. Financial circumstances are not taken into account.

How to apply

There is no application procedure for students. Candidates are nominated by departments and faculties.

Departments need to provide Faculty Offices with the details of their academically best first and second year undergraduates. The Departmental Nomination Forms are advised to contain a reference and be accompanied by copies of transcripts from the current academic session for each of their nominees.

Results

The Faculty Deans will make the final selection from candidates nominated by the departments within each faculty and forward Faculty nominations to Student Funding Office.

Nominated candidates can expect to be contacted by Student Funding Office regarding award payments by the beginning of November.
