Exploring the flood early warning risk data and how this is used by rescue service for a search and rescue methodology

My research is looking at the science of flood early warning data and communication. I am focusing on how this is used by rescue services to provide search and rescue provision, initially through evacuation and then into the search and rescue methodology needed to prioritise and plan for successful rescues or evacuations. A comparison between the Somerset (UK) flood of 2014, Cumbria flood of 2005 and the tropical storm Washi, Philippians in 2009.
