Other questions you may have about summer residences
- Can I receive post?
You can receive post during your stay. Please ensure that your name, room number and the residence address are on the items you order. If you are part of a group, please include your group name.
We will notify you if we receive post for you and you will be able to collect it from the office during opening hours.
- Can I have a guest?
Guests are allowed during the day; however, we do not allow overnight stays. For fire safety reasons, our rooms are for the advertised number of occupants only.
- Do you have parking at your residences?
Parking is very limited and often very expensive in London. We do not offer residential parking to residents at any of our sites. We would recommend that you do not bring your car to London if you choose to stay in our summer accommodation.
Any vehicles parked on UCL property, including residential buildings, need to be authorised before arrival and charges will apply in line with UCL Parking.
- Can I smoke in the residences?
UCL is smoke free. Smoking, including E-Cigarettes and vape pens, is not permitted anywhere in your Accommodation or in Halls. Smoking is also prohibited immediately outside the entrances or open windows of Halls.
- Is there a curfew?
There isn’t a curfew. However, we ask guests to respect the quiet hours from 11pm to 8am.
