The Royal Society Career Development Fellowship

This scheme provides the most talented early career scientists from underrepresented groups in STEM with research funding and high-quality training opportunities to build a strong base for a successful research career. 

The Career Development Fellowship will open to applications on 7 November 2023 (application deadline 24 January 2024)

FEMS Industry Placement Grants

Industry Placement Grants assist early career scientists to gain experience at a European host industry. Any industry, including non-laboratory work, can be considered as long as relevant for microbiology. 

Deadline to apply for FEMS Industry Placement Grants are 1 February and 1 August of each year.
