Extra Tickets Released after Selling Out

The UCL Cancer Symposium, organised by the UCL Cancer Domain, is UCL’s flagship cross-faculty cancer research event, showcasing the incredible range of exciting and impactful research taking place at UCL. The event, featuring keynote speaker Professor Charles Swanton (UCL Cancer Institute and the Francis Crick Institute), connects researchers from a uniquely wide range of disciplines, across all career levels, and showcases UCL’s leading position in this field.

Speaker Biography:

Dr Helen Arnold is Business Development Manager at Stratech partner Jackson ImmunoResearch specialising in secondary antibodies and conjugates. Helen obtained her first degree from the University of Surrey in Biomedical Sciences with an industrial placement year at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK). She completed a PhD at the University of Glasgow in Cardiovascular Cell and Gene Therapy. She then moved to industry to support advancement of Cell and Gene Therapy at Oxford Biomedica and GSK. Helen then moved to the Biotechnology sector and was located to Cambridge to be a part of a startup company in Antibody Development for In Vitro Diagnostics, which then followed by Helen moving to New England Biolabs (NEB) UK to support the advancement and innovation in life sciences R&D.

Register for the Cancer Symposium

The symposium will be held at the Kennedy Lecture Theatre at the UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health on Wednesday 1 May 2024. The symposium is free to attend with lunch provided and all are welcome to attend.
