Dr Ozan Aksoy
Senior Teaching Fellow in Quantitative Social Sciences
Ozan's two research focuses are cooperative behaviour in modern societies and the political sociology of religion. He uses formal-mathematical modeling (such as decision theory and game theory) and is specialized in experimental and statistical methods. Before joining UCL, Ozan was a postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Nuffield College Centre for Experimental Social Sciences and at the Department of Sociology, University of Oxford. Ozan holds a PhD in quantitative sociology from the ICS research school of Utrecht University. His work has been published in sociology, social psychology, political science, and game theory journals.
