Problem: A lack of understanding of the potential consequences of breaking the UK’s link with the European Court of Human Rights

Project: An investigation through review of case law and interviews with judiciary to deliver a research report on this issue, to be disseminated to and discussed with key policy stakeholders

Policy audience: Parliamentarians; members of the judiciary; legal NGOs

Impacts and Outputs


Progress on the project has been delayed by the impact of the UK Brexit referendum, however an academic article summarising the findings is now due to be completed by October 2017.
