We would like to introduce you to some of our new first-year students. Shortly after they started at UCL, we asked them to write about their experiences of coming to London, joining the department, and studying Physics and Astronomy at UCL.

Our students come from a wide variety of backgrounds, and this is reflected in their first experience of university. Everyone’s story is different, and this diversity is an important part of what makes UCL the exciting place it is.
