European Network 'Thermodynamics in the quantum regime' Launched
1 May 2013
The kick-off of a large-scale European network
for research in 'Thermodynamics in the Quantum Regime' was celebrated
in Brussels on Tues 30 April 2013. The successful proposal for one of the prestigious COST
network grants, funded by the ESF, was led by UCL's researcher Dr Janet Anders.
The aim of the network, which
includes 17 countries and runs over 4 years, is to unite research communities
across Europe and support early career researchers in shaping the
emerging research field that is set to impact on the future development of
nanomachines and molecular motors.
