Professor Duncan Craig and Dr Min Zhao performed a ‘double
act’ as keynote speakers at the 2014 Annual Congress of Chinese Clinical
Pharmacy & the 10th Clinical Pharmacists Forum in Yangzhou, China (19th-21st
June 2014). Speaking to approximately
1000 delegates, the UCL SOP team outlined the current state of clinical
pharmacy in the UK and the relationship between the undergraduate degree and
subsequent professional needs.
The
talk appeared to be very well received, with Dr Zhao receiving loud applause
for her outstanding interpretation and translation.
The conference attendance formed part of an
ongoing dialogue with leaders in education and professional development in
China, in particular exploring possibilities for sharing of best practice and
mutual cooperation.
