The UCL brand is so much more than ‘just the logo’. But our logo, and other aspects of our visual identity, is usually the most obvious sign that something ‘belongs’ to UCL, which is why it’s so important to make sure it is presented correctly.

Follow our tips below to make sure that all your materials are on-brand!

Use Branded templates

Branded template resources are freely available to staff and students to help ensure your work is always compliant.

Our wide range of templates include:

  • Headed word documents
  • PowerPoint templates for presentations
  • Research and information posters
  • Video and social media templates
  • Podcast artwork templates

We also have branded Teams backgrounds for online meetings and Digital Signage templates. All of these are available under the ‘UCL Brand Resources’ tab on Imagestore:

You can also access our branded PowerPoint and Word templates via the desktop app versions of PowerPoint and Word in Office365. Go to New > University College London and the range of A4 letterheads and PowerPoint templates will appear.

The A4 Word letterhead is currently available in black, with the rest of the core colours coming soon.

Working with partners

Should you need either your department logo or the main UCL standalone logo for third-party partnership work, you can request it from the brand team via the logo request form. Outside of partnerships we’ve found the branded templates already available are all you need to promote your work.
