New Digital Award Certificates to be issued from December 2023

New Digital Award Certificates will be issued for postgraduate taught and research students who are awarded this November, in December 2023. This will roll-out to all future awarded students from 2024.

Following student feedback, we are pleased to confirm following Results Day on Monday 27 November, we will issue Digital Award Certificates for postgraduate taught and research students, in addition to a Hard Copy Award Certificate.  

Those who receive confirmation of their award in November will receive an email throughout the day on Wednesday 6 December, with further details on how to access them. Emails will be sent out in batches throughout the day and your email may arrive earlier or later than other students in your cohort.    

Please note: if you have an outstanding piece of work, including a deferral or an extension to your dissertation, you will not receive your results on this date. Your department will be able to indicate when you will receive your results once they have been submitted.  

Information on how to access degree documentation will be included in your results emails, which will be sent to your UCL email address on Results Day, Monday 27 November.  

Going forward, all students who receive an award from UCL, will also receive a Digital Award Certificate.  

From January 2024, we will back-issue Digital Award Certificates to students who have been awarded from summer 2023. 

Key dates 

  • Monday 27 November – Results Day  
  • Wednesday 6 December – Access Digital Certificate
  • February 2024 – Receive Hard Copy Award Certificate
