UCL's teaching, learning and assessment strategy for the next six years is to be discussed at a public forum organised by Professor Michael Worton, UCL Vice-Provost (Academic & International) on 16 February.
The meeting aims to pull together recent teaching and learning activity and invite staff involvement in the start of a process to develop the strategic priorities for teaching and learning across UCL in the medium term.
It will also be an informal platform to encourage networking between departments over a glass of wine.
Professor Worton will discuss the role of departmental teaching and learning strategies as they relate to UCL's wider strategies, and ESCILTA chair Professor Peter Mobbs will present the learnings of the 2007-8 review of departmental teaching and learning strategies.
Heads of departments and chairs of departmental teaching committees are invited to attend, along with any UCL staff member with an interest or involvement in strategic planning.
The strategy meeting will take place from 5 to 7pm on 16 February at UCL Old Refectory.
If you wish to attend, please RSVP to Jasweer Manku.
