Michael Worton: Vice-Provost (International) and Fielden Professor of French Language and Literature, UCL
Michael has written extensively on modern French
Literature and on issues in critical theory and on gender theory.His publications include Textuality
and Sexuality: Reading Theories and Practices, co-edited
with Judith Still (Manchester University Press, 1995), Michel
Tounier (Longman, 1995), Typical
Men (Djanogly Art Gallery, 2001); the catalogue of
the exhibition'Typical Men: Recent Photography of the Male

Literatures in the 1990s, edited
with Gill Rye (Manchester University Press, 2002), National

with Nana Wilson-Tagoe (UCL Press, 2004), and Liberating Learning: Widening Participation, edited with Patrick Derham (University of Buckingham Press, 2010) . Michael directs the UCL Mellon Programme
