Special Interest Group in Social Cognition and Behaviour

Our Aims

The UCL Social Cognition and Behaviour Special Interest Group (SIG) is an interdisciplinary group with interest in improving understanding of the nature and consequences of social cognition and social behaviour in health and disease. The SIG has been established to strengthen capacity and collaboration across UCL in research into this area. The SIG provides a forum for academics, clinicians across UCL to share knowledge and experience of different methodological approaches and disease areas in relation to social cognition and behaviour, and to increase collaboration, through regular seminar events and other activities. Our current objectives are:

  • To grow the SIG membership
  • To identify social cognition and behaviour research activity taking place across UCL
  • To enable networking and the exchange of ideas within the SIG
  • To share experience and knowledge
  • To promote collaboration within the SIG and across academic disciplines

If you or a colleague would like to become members of the Social Cognition and Behaviour SIG, or you are interested in finding out more, please contact the SIG via dop.socialsig@ucl.ac.uk
