The Institute of Mental Health will showcase and foster growth of UCL's rich portfolio of groundbreaking mental health research.

UCL has enormous strengths in applied mental health research and in the basic sciences relevant to mental health. There are just under 800 members of staff across UCL making world-leading contributions to research into mental health conditions and treatments. Bibliometric analysis by RAND Europe in 2015 identified UCL as the most productive and influential mental health research institution in England.
