The main areas of assessment within the final year are final MBBS examinations, in-course supervised learning events and end of placement sign off and formative assessment in the form of ‘Case of the Month’. All of the assessments have been put together in line with the foundation programme and replicate exactly what the students will encounter in the e-portfolio in the future. We constantly liaise with the DGH sites to make sure that the students are reaching ‘the level expected’ within each placement and that their grades are not over-inflated. Year 6 Team |
