Dr. Ernesto E. Vidal Rosas is a research associate at DOT-HUB. Previously he obtained a PhD in Control Engineering at the University of Sheffield, followed by a postdoctoral position at the Instituto of Photonic Sciences (ICFO) in Barcelona, Spain.
Currently, his work is focussed on the development of reconstruction algorithms for high-density diffuse optical tomography (HD-DOT) for the LUMO project, which aims to develop the new generation of wearable brain imaging devices using diffuse optics. His research interests also include speckle imaging, diffuse correlation spectroscopy/tomography, broad-band spectroscopy, neural-networks and system identification.
