UCL has internal funds to support innovation projects, but what’s the key to knowledge exchange applications that succeed? In this hands-on workshop you’ll get tips to create a strong project, avoid common mistakes, and even start writing your application.
We’ll take you through three important areas where you can improve your chances of success:
- Frame the right project: Find out how knowledge exchange differs from research and what types of activities are suitable, such as recruiting partners, informing policy, or testing ideas in real world settings. Get tips on describing your project.
- Choose the right funding: Learn about the different types of funding. You can usually apply for up to £15K, but sometimes higher for certain kinds of projects.
- Get the timing right: discover timing tips, your chances of success go way up when you prepare your application and get specialist advice before the call opens. The next call for applications opens in May 2023.
Get ahead of the game - go to Eventbrite and sign up now. Places are limited and we expect this popular workshop to sell out. Lunch will be provided.
Note: This workshop is for staff in MAPS and isn’t suitable for students. Students should connect with UCL Entrepreneurship.
