Tamara Alhilfi is the MAPS Faculty Lead on UCL's Awarding Gap Project, which aims to address the disparities in outcomes and experience of undergraduate Black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) and White students at UCL.

Tamara is a Lecturer in Teaching based in the Department of Chemistry. Tamara works closely with Zak Lidell and Katherine Holt, and sits on a number of committees to ensure the Awarding Gap is considered in education strategies and the student experience throughout all departments in MAPS.
