Research Opportunity Scholarships awarded to FLS students
30 November 2021
UCL's Research Opportunity Scholarship (UCL-ROS) is intended to support BAME postgraduate research degree students. UCL is running this scholarship in partnership with the Windsor Fellowship.
The scheme offers full financial support and a skills development programme, both designed to promote academia as a more attractive career option.
Research Opportunity Scholarships are part of UCL’s Race Equity initiative. We are delighted to announce that this year, two FLS nominees have been awarded ROS scholarships.
Alicia Donoghue will join a research group led by Dr Vilaiwan Fernandes (CDB), after completing her MSci in Biology at the University of Manchester. Sazia Rahman will join the 4-year PhD programme in Cell Biology (LMCB), after completing her MSc in Infection and Immunity at UCL.
