Contents

Copy of letter written by Heinrich Möller and Bertha, Ebba and Stella to their sister Anna during their cycle ride from Novorossiysk to Suchum (Sukhumi) along the Black Sea coast in 1902. The letter was written for the benefit of their sister Anna who was unable to travel with them. It is accompanied by a copy of a photograph of the Möllers and three photographs, possibly showing Novorossiysk.

The letter details their daily cycle rides and overnight stays at small villages and towns along the route, sometimes sleeping in their hammocks in the forest. The Möllers describe the changing weather, their encounters with local people and wildlife, including drinking tea with woodcutters.

There is also a typewritten English translation of the letter (dated c 2001)
