South Junction reading room closed 21 February to 2 March

The UCL Special Collections reading room will be closed from 21 February to 2 March 2022, due to essential maintenance works.

You can access our digital collections wherever you are working. This includes digitised materials from the George Orwell archive, medieval manuscript fragments, rare books collection and much more.

Our reading rooms at the IoE and the National Archives will be open as usual.

The Special Collections Team will continue to support you. Please contact them if you have any questions.

Please remember

To help keep our community safe: 

  • you must stay at home if you feel unwell;
  • face coverings are mandatory for all students and staff while you are indoors on campus, unless you are exempt;
  • you should get tested twice a week and report your results to both NHS and UCL Connect to Protect.
