Owing to adverse weather conditions, we may need to close library buildings at short notice.
A Met Office weather warning for Friday 18 February is predicting extreme winds, which may cause disruption to a number of services, including transport.
As a result, we may need to close library buildings at short notice. Library users are encouraged to check library opening hours and our service updates before starting your journey to the library.

Latest updates, Friday 18 February:
- A number of our libraries and study spaces will be closed today.
- Those that are open will close earlier than usual, by 17:00.
- The Student Centre will remain open 24/7 as normal.
Our opening hours page has all of the updated times for today. We anticipate normal opening times for Saturday 19 February.
