Returning Students' Account Issues

Existing students may need to reset their passwords. Please read the instructions below.

As you have previously studied with us you will already have been issued your UCL computer account details. If you need help with your user ID please contact: clie-eveningcourses-support@ucl.ac.uk 

At the start of the new academic year please reset your password to make sure it is working.  

You can do so via the UCL MyAccount  portal. Here’s what you need to do:  

  • Go to the following page: https://myaccount.ucl.ac.uk/resetpw  

  • Enter your UCL User ID in lowercase (see above) 

  • Enter the last 5 digits of your mobile phone number.  

  • A code will then be sent to your mobile phone. Please enter this code under ‘Password reset Code’. 

  • Create a new password and confirm it. Please use the password strength bar and the guidelines on the right-hand side of the page to help you with setting your password. Note that WEAK passwords will automatically be rejected.  

 

It can take up to 2 hours for your new password to work across all UCL systems.
