Sample timetables

Sample UPC timetables will give you an idea of what a typical week is like on the UCL foundation course.

UPC students have lectures, seminars, laboratory sessions and tutorials each week. These will provide an average of 23 hours of teaching contact time per week (one UCL class hour = a 50-minute session). You should also allocate a similar number of hours each week for self-study.

We provide off-campus activities throughout the year. These can include:

  • course trips
  • guided tours
  • stage shows
  • external lectures (outside campus)
  • field trips
  • outdoor events.

Here are some sample UPC timetables. These timetables are dependent on the course and the two optional modules chosen.
