Sample timetables

Sample UPC timetables will give you an idea of what a typical week is like on the UCL foundation course.

UPC students have lectures, seminars, laboratory sessions and tutorials each week. These will provide at least 16 hours of teaching contact time per week. You should also allocate a similar number of hours each week for self-study.

We provide off-campus activities throughout the year. These can include:

  • course trips
  • guided tours
  • stage shows
  • external lectures (outside campus)
  • field trips
  • outdoor events.

Your timetable will vary depending on which optional subjects you take and may change from year to year because of considerations such as room availability.

The timetables below are illustrative and give you an idea of the overall scheduled teaching time and the balance of different teaching and learning methods.

Here are some sample UPC timetables.
