Application discovery documents

Information on why application discovery documents are needed. Includes template to complete and sample application discovery document.

If your software request requires installation on more than 10 devices we will need a completed application discovery document attached to your submission.

The discovery document is used to help us gather information about the software required. It should include all installation, configuration and testing steps to ensure the software meets your requirements once installed on Desktop @ UCL.

It is important that we capture your requirements at the beginning of the request process as any requirements that are discovered at later stages (e.g. at testing or after the application has been deployed) will result in delays. Any amendment, regardless of size, will require you to submit a brand new application request. This will also add your application to the back of the packaging/deployment queue.
