Drupal CMS: Edit an existing page

Learn to edit an existing page in Drupal.

Before you start

When editing use Chrome, Firefox or Safari, but NOT Internet Explorer.

Instructions

  1. Ensure you are logged in
  2. Go to the page you want to edit
  3. Click on 'New draft' at the top, above the title of the page
  4. Make your changes
  5. Save
  6. Finally, check you are happy with the result, including on a mobile device

Tip

You may want to add new content but between existing content rather than at the end?
When you find you cannot see your cursor where you want to insert new content, you will see a red dotted line with a white arrow at the end on the right... Click on the arrow and a paragraph break will be inserted automatically, allowing you to insert the extra content.
