Congratulations to UCL IoO and Moorfields Eye Hospital staff for being recognised in a list of the most influential people in the world of ophthalmology.

The Ophthalmologist Power List 2020 honours clinicians, scientists and engineers who have made a significant contribution to their field.

Two staff members from the IoO and Moorfields Eye Hospital made the prestigious ‘top ten’ of the power list, representing an even higher level of recognition for their impact in the field of ophthalmology. 

They are:

  • UCL IoO Professor of Glaucoma Studies and Wound Healing Sir Peng Tee Khaw, also consultant ophthalmic surgeon and Director at NIHR Biomedical Research Centre Moorfields Eye Hospital
  • UCL IoO and Moorfields Eye Hospital IGA Professor of Opthalmology for Glaucoma & Allied Studies Ted Garway-Heath, also President of the European Glaucoma Society
