UCL Personalised Medicine Domain - Early Careers Network
The UCL Personalised Medicine Domain is launching an Early Careers Network (ECN),
which aims to provide support to researchers in the early stages of their career in
Personalised Medicine across UCL.
The ECN aims to identify challenges faced by early career researchers, and to organise
events to tackle these and promote professional development.
An important role of the ECN is to provide a platform to bring together researchers focusing
on different aspects of Personalised Medicine research across all faculties, allowing
networking and opportunities for shared learning.
We hope to organise events such as:
- Improving your grant/fellowship writing skills
- How to prepare for grants, fellowships and job interviews
- What to do after you get your PhD? Alternative careers for Personalised Medicine
researchers
- Work-life balance as a UCL researcher
- Top tips for getting published
- How to secure public and patient involvement
- How to make the most of academic conferences
Subscribe to the ECN Mailing List to be kept informed about upcoming events.
If you have any questions, comments, or ideas about what kind of events you would like thenetwork to organise, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
