How to become a volunteer to raise awareness

CRF chemical_abstract

There are many ways to be involved in our Clinical Research Community.  Apart from

participation in clinical research trials, we are currently offering new ways to increase patient and public involvement at our facility.  Additional activities that patients, families, carers and the public can get involved in are our research open days, educational films, photographic campaigns, and other media publications that raise awareness and manage expectations regarding clinical research studies.

Join Dementia Research

Join Dementia Research is a nationwide online and telephone service that makes it easier for people to register their interest in volunteering for dementia research studies.

Dementia affects 850,000 people in the UK. The only way to beat the condition is through research. Anyone, with or without dementia, can register as a volunteer or sign-up for someone else, providing it’s in their best interest.

Signing up is the first step in becoming involved in supporting vital research studies across the nation.

If you are interested in being involved in our awareness-education projects, our Patient and Public Involvement Panel, or if you have ideas that you would like to propose for awareness activities please contact us at lwenc-crf@ucl.ac.uk
