The Centre for Teacher and Early Years Education (CTEY) works on improving quality in Chinese early years practice and teacher education.

The centre’s purpose is to bring together academics, teacher educators and practitioners across the UK and China, in order to generate research-informed, effective and sustainable change in Chinese early years practice.

This virtual research reception will introduce the ongoing and planned research projects of CTEY in areas such as 0-3 curriculum development, parenting, children's voice, culturally-sensitive teacher training and more.

The centre is seeking potential collaboration with academics, teacher educators and practitioners to work together on these research projects. The reception will provide an opportunity to open up conversation and start developing genuine partnership.
