WEISS

The Wellcome/EPSRC Centre for Interventional and Surgical Sciences (WEISS) was created at University College London (UCL) in 2017 with the vision of bringing together a wide team of engineering and clinical experts working to develop new surgical technologies.  These advances are going to create intuitive and highly personalised surgical platforms that enable more precise, less invasive procedures. Greater precision also means more patients will be viable for complicated but life-altering surgery and those treated will benefit from safer, more localised treatments and a shorter recovery time in hospital.

The Liminal Space

The Liminal Space is a unique, purpose-led studio with a mission to use art and design to transform what people think, feel and do. We work with academics, scientists and experts across the globe to create experiences that tackle tough issues and help people to engage with what lies ahead for our climate, health, communities and culture.

Wellcome Trust

Wellcome is a global charitable foundation established in 1936. Through their work they support science to solve the urgent health issues facing everyone. They want everyone to benefit from science’s potential to improve health and save lives. In Theatre has been supported by a Research Enrichment Grant from the Wellcome Trust.
