Dr Shahab Akhavan

Biography

Shahab Akhavan received the BEng (Materials Science and Engineering) from Middle East Technical University and the MSc (Materials Science and Nanotechnology) from Bilkent University. Later, he received his PhD (Engineering) from the University of Cambridge. Right after susccessfully defending his PhD, he became research associate at the Univeristy of Cambridge (Cambridge Graphene Centre). He joined Univeristy College London in 2021 and currently he is serving as lecturer (teaching) in institute for materials discovery.
